Recipients of the Open Fund and Inside Out Fund are undertaking a variety of projects within the local area. A range of groups are benefitted because of the work done by these organisations, including sports clubs, scout groups, and schools in and around º£½ÇÉçÇø.
º£½ÇÉçÇø University’s Community Manager, Jenny Ardley said: “We are delighted to support local charities and voluntary organisations through the Community Donations Fund. This year's recipients represent a diverse array of projects, each making a meaningful impact in our community. It was a pleasure to connect with many of the representatives at our recent event, and we extend our best wishes for their continued success in their important work.”
The University awarded a total of £12,630 across the two funds, contributing to improvements within the community which will be undertaken by the groups awarded. Recipients of the Community Donation Fund include:
