Description of the Works
The boiler safety discharge pipework that terminates onto the roof is to be altered to account for the new roof height and finishes that are to be installed. The existing discharge pipework will be cut and additional pipe section welded onto it with new discharge elbows.
During the work the boilers will need to be isolated and permitted off for safe working, the work will not commence until late morning to allow time for buildings connected to the district heating to get up to temperature, the boilers will then be restarted on completion of the work expected the same day.
