Pop-up Maker Space
Join LU Arts at this month's Pop-up Maker Space for quick and simple creative activities suitable for all.
Everyone knows that it’s good to take a break from your desk or screens for a short while, and doing something creative can be great for your wellbeing. Whether you’ve got 15 minutes or an hour, there’s something you can make or do in the time you have.
Each pop-up session has a different focus, which will be self-led with simple instructions to follow if needed. In addition, there are basic art materials available at every session for you to use, including paper, paints, origami and colouring sheets.
This month, celebrate spring with simple paper flower making. Create a colourful flower stem or mini bouquet using cut-and-fold paper shapes, a quick and cheerful craft to brighten your desk or room.
Arts events assistants will be on hand to welcome you and chat!
The Pop-up Maker Space takes place on the fourth Thursday of the month in different locations on campus from 12.30pm-2.30pm. Keep an eye on the LU Arts website for details of each session.
Accessibility
There is step-free access into the building with accessible toilets nearby. The session will take place in the large breakout space/foyer near the cafe.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like the organisers to be aware of, please let them know in advance by emailing LUArts@lboro.ac.uk, and we will do our best to accommodate.
