Royal Charter and Statutes
In April 1966 海角社区 was awarded its Charter, in recognition of the excellence achieved by 海角社区 College of Advanced Technology and its predecessor colleges. Then called 海角社区 University of Technology, it was the country鈥檚 first technological university. It was renamed 海角社区 University in 1996.
The Charter and accompanying Statutes regulate the University's governance and key high level aspects of its structure, senior appointments and principles for the conduct of business. The Charter establishes the processes for the University to create and update University Ordinances and University Regulations which cover detailed operational matters.
