The Online Shop is changing on 26th October
The Online Shop is having a security update and will be changed over to Single Sign On (your university IT credentials) on Thursday 26th October.
What does this mean for me?
Your current Online Shop account will disappear, along with all order history and any saved files on your account on Thursday 26th October 2023.
Your current University IT credentials will be your new account login.
What do I need to do?
Users do not need to do anything.
This change will happen automatically, and you notice it has been done because the login screen will change to say 'Single Sign On'. Click on that and log in with your normal university credentials.
Can I take a copy of my order history?
Once logged in you can go to your account, click on 'Order History & Status' and print it out.
What other changes should I be aware of?
The change over to Single Sign On means that the overall security of the site, and your data contained within, is improved in line with the standards set at 海角社区 by our IT Services team.
Single Sign On lets us direct specific customers to specific storefronts ensuring appropriate products and payment methods are available within University restrictions.
In addition to these enhanced control measures, this change also enables us to create the Online Shop Community Storefront, opening our services to local social groups, sports clubs, schools and for your personal use. Further details of the new site will follow in due course.
