Myanmar鈥檚 military junta appears to be in terminal decline

Myint Swe, the acting president of Mynamar鈥檚 military government, has warned that the country 鈥渨ill be split into various parts鈥 after his armed forces suffered聽huge territorial losses聽to resistance fighters recently. His response was to call on Mynamar鈥檚 people to support his military forces, a call that is likely, based on previous experience, to fall mainly on deaf ears.
